Meet Sharon: Your guide to joy and wellbeing

Welcome to my world, where laughter meets genuine connection and professional expertise. I'm Sharon Gambrill, and I'm passionate about bringing uplifting experiences and profound wellbeing to organisations and communities. Join me on a journey of inspiration, fun, and authentic engagement!

More than just a presenter

What makes me truly special? It's my personality and unique blend of skills. With a background in stand-up comedy and as a professional host, combined with certifications as a Laughter Yoga Teacher, EFT/Tapping practitioner, Louise Hay 'Heal Your Life' workshop teacher, and life coach, I bring a dynamic and holistic approach to every engagement. I thrive on connecting with people, fostering an uplifting, professional, and genuinely unique experience for everyone involved. I'm a people person, easily bringing groups together to share in joy and learning. I have had my share of health challenges including breast cancer, endometriosis, breast implant illness, and the family pain and instability of an unhappy, worried childhood with my mother's suicide attempts, absent father issues, along with my mother's eventual suicide 25 years ago, make me appreciate the value of good health, connection and emotional healing.

Inspiring joy and connection

I aim to convey professionalism, inspire with my personal journey, and create a wonderful atmosphere. When I'm leading a session, I lift the entire room with my enthusiasm and genuine ability to connect, ensuring everyone feels welcomed, included, and valued. You'll experience an engaging, fun, caring, and warm-hearted event that leaves a lasting positive impact.

"I have only received great feedback from the ladies who attended. Our guests expressed that the event was a highlight where they felt uplifted and inspired. One of the ladies commented that she really felt the sisterhood and the atmosphere was warm and embracing."

Proven impact, celebrated expertise

I'm proud to share experiences that highlight the tangible benefits of my work. On the ABC science show, Catalyst, my participation in a filmed Laughter Yoga session resulted in my remarkable 65% reduction via a saliva test in the stress hormone cortisol, showcasing therapeutic laughter's profound cellular impact. I was also second-runner-up in the prestigious Hay House Australia Writer's Workshop and book proposal competition, securing a self-publishing package for my book on therapeutic laughter, which will be featured on both the Balboa Press and Hay House websites in 2026. My specialist experience has led to interviews on KIIS 1065 Breakfast Show, Weekend Sunrise, and even a segment as a relationship laughter coach on MAFS Australia Season 12!

I derive a great deal of satisfaction and fulfillment delivering workshops to corporate clients seeking impactful ways to boost morale, reduce burnout, and provide team-building and connection in the workplace. My workshops have been embraced by banks, insurance companies, government departments, corporate business firms, IT companies, real estate and property development companies, sports clubs, teachers, social workers, college and university staff, accountancy and brokerage firms, hospital staff, and animal vet staff. I also proudly serve Councils and Local Health Districts in Sydney and throughout NSW, at NSW Seniors Festivals, National Carers Week, R U OK? Day, International Women's Day and Mental Health Month. I have loved being a guest on podcasts, radio and TV shows presenting Laughter Yoga segments on KIIS 1065 Breakfast Show, Cataylst, Weekend Sunrise, and Married At First Sight Australia Season 12, not as a bride but as a laughter coach!
