From being the funny fat kid pretending to wet her pants, to posing her barbies in erotic positions during high school maths class, to searching for a woman in a toilet block as a guest actor on Home and Away, Sharon or Shazza has always made people laugh. Whether doing standup, using a ridiculous character voice, being a wedding reception MC or hosting trivia nights, she has the comic timing!

 

Sharon has hosted hundreds of trivia nights in Sydney over the past eight years, often working five nights a week at clubs, pubs, Christmas parties, corporate functions, and fundraisers. Sharon's career highlights include: the Olympics, Arts Festival 2000, Live Sites, where she performed stand up in front of 4 000 people in Martin Place. "All I had to say was Go Thorpie and I had the crowd! I felt like a rock star and we even had fruit in the green room!" She has also performed a one-woman comedy show at Sydney's Big Laugh Comedy Festival; a stand up tour of the snowfields; the Luna Lounge at Sydney's Basement; New Comics on The Block at The Sydney Comedy Store; hosted Sunday Soapbox a public speaker's forum; and appeared in a series of women's comedy nights at the legendary Harold Park Hotel.

Sharon was part of a live sketch comedy show that toured to such glamorous locations as Wyong, and has appeared in a number of short films. Also featuring in TV commercials for It's A Mitsi!,City Rail, Honda CRV, Direct Dial Insurance, and St George Bank. She was a guest actor on All Saints, Home and Away and in 2012 appeared in the Australian comedy feature film Up The Aisle.

 

In 2014, Sharon was a lead actor in a sitcom pilot, appeared as the annoyed wife in the music video, Man Flu, for comedy legend Mick Meredith, and was a featured speaker for The Art Of Storytelling theme night, Blood, Sweat and Tears. Comedy and inspiration rolled into one! Currently Sharon is co-writing a TV sketch comedy show.

 

Sharon has written a number of children's stories and has teamed up with one of the best illustrator in Australia to bring them to life.  Funny, warm hearted books with special positive messages for children. Stay tuned!

 

After a health challenge in 2011, Sharon has become interested in health orientated modalities and is now a certified Heal Your Life® Workshop Teacher and Life Coach, facilitating corporate Laughter Yoga Workshops with laughter, deep breathing, mindfulness, relaxation techniques and team building!
